| Abstract/Contents: | Experiments were conducted at Rutgers University Turfgrass Research Center, North Brunswick, N. J. Experiments were run during August and September in mixed turfgrass swards containing perennial ryegrass, fine, fescue, crabgrass, and creeping bentgrass. Creeping bentgrass was killed by 0.25 lb/A BAS 9052 OH. A non-ionic spreader and an oil concentrate were used as adjuvants. There were no differences in activity due to adjuvants. BAS 9052 OH was used alone and in combination with conventional postemergence crabgrass herbicides. Fine fescue and perennial ryegrass recovered from 1.0 lb/A BAS 9052 OH. Good crabgrass control was obtained in fine fescue and perennial ryegrass at 0.25 lb/A. |
