Abstract/Contents:Discusses the book Golf in the Year 2000 by J.J. McCullough, written in 1892. It is the story of Englishman golfer Alexander Gibson and how he falls asleep in 1892 and doesn't reawaken until the year 2000. He finds that the game of golf has evolved over the years, namely clubs and caddies. Also includes timelines covering the evolution of golf in the 80's and 90's.
