Sectors studied "included sod producers, growers, nurseries, garden centers, landscape firms, lawn care firms, households, golf courses, schools, universities and several other sectors and subsectors." Reports that "total turf-related expenditures amounted to $5.59 billion. However, this does not include economic multipliers for employment and income, which would extend the estimated expenditures to over $6 billion." |
