Abstract/Contents:Discusses an experiment designed to test the shading and compaction effects of 'Diamond' Zoysiagrass for possible use as a dome turf. Data analyzed includes turf quality, color, density, uniformity, cover, root length, and height. Results indicate that "Diamond zoysiagrass has high shade tolerance." Also reports that "under relatively high shade conditions, Diamond could maintain acceptable turf quality for a prolonged period and develop adequate root system within a short period of time."
