Abstract/Contents:Discusses an experiment designed to "evaluate and compare surface and subsurface application of selected nematicides for the control of plant-parasitic nematodes and mole cricket nymphs in turf." Selected nematodes include: lesion, ring, dagger, lance, spiral, sting, root knot, sheathoid, stubby root and visual root. Results indicate that "except in three cases, statistical analysis of nematode count data show no significant differences among the treatments at any sample date." Also provides ratings for visual surface quality, dry weight root mass, mole cricket damage and turf color.
