| Abstract/Contents: | Discusses a study designed "to evaluate the agronomic and playing surface quality of the modular turf system Grass Tilesā¢" in an effort "to compare tiles installed over blacktop with tiles installed over a traditional sand-based root-zone." Results indicate that "the modular system containing DuPont Shredded Carpet reduces soil bulk density, reduces surface hardness, and reduced divoting, while maintaining equivalent traction characteristics." |
