"Even Busch Stadium, which has been around for more than 30 years, converted its playing field to real turfgrass six or seven years ago." Describes the difficulty associated with maintenance due to low air circulation and limited sunlight in the winter months. The solution utilized by Busch Stadium is to re-sod the field each February with sod from Florida.
