| Abstract/Contents: | Discusses five "dogmas" of biocontrol resulting from reseatch conducted on Trichoderma harazianum T-22. A couple of the dogmas include "biological control agents are necessarily less effective and reliable than chemical pesticides," "single BCA's cannot be effective in diverse environments, on different crops, or against a wide range of plant pathogens," and "biocontrol agents have simple mechanisms of action that are controlled by one or only a few genes and gene products." |
