Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the presence of fungicides in surface water runoff and groundwater leaching. Research indicates that "fungicides don't wash off into the surface water or travel into the groundwater...about 90 percent of the fungicide remains on the grass leaf blade, where it is absorbed by the plant within 48 hours." The research also suggests that the remaining residue is absorbed into the thatch layer, where it remains without entering the soil. |
