| Abstract/Contents: | Details are given of the variation in caryopsis, lemma and palea morphology and 1000-grain weight in three varieties of Phleum bertolonii and 18 of P. pratense. Differences in the number and degree of coarseness of hairs occurring between the lemma nerves most readily distinguish these species. |
