Abstract/Contents:Discusses methods of interpreting the results of soil tests. "The objective of a soil test is to measure the relative sufficiency of available soil nutrients in order to provide recommendations on the amount of fertilizer nutrients to apply to turf to obtain optimum growth." States that "good sampling technique, appropriate and skillfully applied methods of analysis and calibration studies are essential to interpreting soil test results for making meaningful fertilizer recommendations."
