Abstract/Contents:Discusses research designed "to predict where (and at what level of intensity) grub populations will occur" in an effort to "provide the turf manager with a strong indication [about] which species to expect at each site based upon the site condition." Results indicate that "environmental factors, such as soil texture, soil organic matter, soil moisture, and irrigation, will affect the performance of biological and chemical insecticides as well as predators such as entomogenous nematodes."
