Abstract/Contents:Profiles tropical signalgrass in Florida, "a very serious problem in both golf turf and sod." Describes how to identify the weed and methods of control. Reviews herbicide evaluation research for signalgrass control. Drive, Sencor, Illoxan, MSO, Kinetic, DyneAmic, and MSMA were the herbicides evaluated. Treatments with 85% or more reduction compared with controls were MSMA + DyneAmic, MSMA alone, and MSMA + Sencor.
