Abstract/Contents: | Discusses a study designed "to determine the effects of fertilizer sources on leaching and runoff of N and P from simulated golf greens and fairways." Results of the study indicate that "P can be transported in runoff water, particularly if the rainfall event is soon after application and the soil is moist at the time of the rainfall event." However, "nitrate transport in runoff water was negligible when N was added as an ammonium salt." |
