| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study on the "effects of Primo on Kentucky bluegrass sod storage and handling." Sod was evaluated based on temperature, tensile strength, color, and quality. Results indicate that "a single application of Primo, 10 to 14 days before harvest of Kentucky bluegrass sod, has been shown to reduce heat accumulation within sod during storage. Other effects may also result, such as improved tensile strength and better transplant color and quality." |
