| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study "designed to evaluate the effectiveness of the BioJect Biological Management System® for its ability to suppress diseases in the field." The study examined the efficacy of Pseudomonas aureofaciens against dollar spot on creeping bentgrass and brown patch on colonial bentgrass. Reports that "this research demonstrated that the BioJect System effectively fermented and delivered Tx-1. The level of dollar spot suppression, however, was not commercially acceptable without fungicide inputs, and the effect of Tx-1 on brown patch severity was erratic or ineffective." |
