| Abstract/Contents: | Discusses a study to test the efficacy of the postemergence herbicide Drive (quincloroc) on crabgrass. Results include: "granular formulations of Drive...or Drive/Dimension...provided poor postemergence efficacy on crabgrass at all rates and herbicide/rate combinations...postemergence efficacy of granular formulations of Drive...or Drive/Dimension...combinations were not enhanced at any rates or herbicide combinations when applied to wet foliage compared to dry foliage...in general, a rain free period of 6-12 hours appears necessary to insure maximum efficacy from Drive", and "in tolerance studies..., Kentucky bluegrass, tall fescue, and perennial ryegrass exhibited excellent tolerance to Drive. Creeping bentgrass is sensitive to Drive herbicide with discoloration." |
