| Abstract/Contents: | "The University of Florida's Environmental Landscape Management (ELM) program teaches environmentally sound landscape design and maintenance practices that increase the health of a landscape while reducing negative impacts on the environment. Survey results indicate that ELM does help homeowners and landscape professionals adopt key practices and that some educational approaches are more effective than others. Social marketing research conducted in 1997 included pre- and post- test evaluations of ELM/FY&N materials, resulting in the development of the Florida YardStick Workbook." |
