| Abstract/Contents: | Describes effective devices for getting the turf message out to clientele in Bergen County, New Jersey including newspaper releases, annual law demonstrations and clinics, short courses for commercial turf interests, telephone consultation hours, tip-o-phone (two minute message on lawn care), field visits to schools and municipalities, and turf samples. Statest that all of the educational programs available in Bergen County emphasize liming, fertilizing, mowing (cutting heights of 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 inches), and watering. |
