| Abstract/Contents: | The 22 perennial ryegrass cultivars in this trial were among the first plots to be established after the renovation of the field research area in 1979. The study has been maintained since that time at a 2-inch mowing height and is fertilized with 4 lb N/1000 ft2/yr. The area receives no fungicide or insecticide applications. Belle, Feiesta, and Derby received the highest overall quality ratings in 1986. The first 12 cultivars received satisfactory ratings. NK-100 and Linn received the lowest ratings in 1985. |
