| Abstract/Contents: | This study was performed on a golf course fairway mowed just under 1". Soil was a clay loam pH of 8.5, phosphorus level of 45 lb/acre, potassium level of 190 lb/acre, organic matter content of 10.8%. Treatments include Balan, Bensulide, Dacthal, Team, EL-107, Prodiamine, Prime +, Pennant, Regalstar, Ronstar 50 WO and 2 G, Pendimethalin, and Cinch. Treatments were applied April 23, crabgrass control were taken on July 17 and September 3. All herbicides were effective in controlling crabgrass at the July 17 count, except EL-107. On the September 3 check, none of the materials differed significantly in control. Only Pennant and Ronstar 50 WP showed phytotoxicity on the dates checked. |
