| Abstract/Contents: | Area tested was a fairly thick stand of bluegrass mowed at 3". The area was never treated with preemergence herbicides and crabgrass population was very high. Materials were applied at the 3-leaf to 1-tiller and at the 3-leaf to 4-tiller stage. Herbicides were very effective with 100% control common, while less than 80% control was rare. Phytotoxicity ratings are also given but were complicated by the inadvertent application of 3 pts/A of Turflon D over the experiment site. |
