Abstract/Contents: | DCPA (dimethl tetrachloroterephthalate), Glyphosate (N-((phosphonomethyl))glycine), RO7-6145 (2,3:4,6 Bis-O-((1- methylethylidene)-<-L-xylo-2-Hexulofuranosonic acid) and Ronstar (2-tert-butyl-4-((2,4-dichlow-5-isopropoxyphenyl- delta2-1,3,4-oxadiazolin-5-one) were applied to a mature stand of Veronica filiformis and turfgrasses. Non-selective control was achieved with glyphosate. Selective control was achieved with DCPA and RO7-6145. Ronstar was not effective in controlling Veronica filiformis. The flowable and wettable powder formulations of DCPA were far superior to the granular formulation. RO7-6145 exhibited faster control of Veronica filiformis and greater toxicity to turfgrasses than DCPA. |
