Abstract/Contents:Discusses rake placement in bunkers, and the potential difficulties placement policies on rake placement can create for club members and maintenance crews. States that "the USGA's [United States Golf Association] 'Decisions on the Rules of Golf' says, 'It is recommended that rakes be placed outside bunkers as is practical and in positions where they will be least likely to affect play.' Suggests that "bunker rake placement has become an issue that may never be resolved to the satisfaction of golfers, maintenance staff or course officials."
