Abstract/Contents:Article relates usage of a 20 foot boom with field jet type nozzle with a Myers 200 gallon fiberglass spray tank on a curative spray program at The Seaview Country Club in Absecon, NJ. Advantages and disadvantages of the wider and coarser spray pattern of field jet nozzles are discussed. The author believes that field jet nozzles may be used more effectively within a preventative spray program when spraying intervals are closer and the time involved in spraying is much greater.
