Abstract/Contents: | Discusses chemical control for bermudagrass encroachment on bentgrass putting greens. States that "our most successful is split applications of Tupersan on September 1 and October 15...When spring comes we have no problems with encroachment until the end of summer." Also reports that "one year we tried a different approach and sprayed a combination of Cutless and Prograss on the inside perimeter of our greens. Although our encroachment problem was handled satisfactorily we were not happy with the slight discoloration that resulted from this spraying." |
