| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study of the effectiveness of preemergence herbicides on crabgrass, including Betasan 4E-LF, Betasan 2.25, Betasan/Devrinol, SN 549, Ronstar 50 WP, Ronstar 2G, Ronstar/Modown, Dacthal, Team, and Pendimethal in 60WDG. States that Kentucky bluegrass was the turfgrass used in the study. Results show that the Ronstar material, Dacthal, Team, and Pendimethal were effective in controlling crabgrass at all rates tested. Results also indicate that damage to Kentucky bluegrass varied based on the length of application. |
