States that it was "decided to try the scalp and seed method...[which] calls for scalping the turf as close as possible to the soil thereby preventing competition with the new seedlings." Also discusses the application procedure precautions used because of the non-selective properties of Round Up. Lists "general observations made during the renovation process" and "the procedure...used to renovate the rough around the greens." States that "this type of rough renovation is inexpensive and easy to do. It turns a highly visible turf from an eyesore and maintenance headache into an easy to maintain, uniform and high quality playing area." |
