| Abstract/Contents: | "Turf-type experimental accessions, experimental synthetics, varieties, blends and mixtures (2 or more species) were evaluated for performance when overseeded on common bermudagrass. Plots were established in October, 1989 and evaluated until the end of May, 1990. Mowing height was 3/8 inch. Significant differences occurred among entries for turfgrass color, overall quality, leaf texture and iron-chlorosis type symptoms. Mixtures which did not contain ryegrass ranked somewhat lower in turfgrass color, but were equally competitive in quality." |
