| Abstract/Contents: | "Our research for the past ten years has been conducted on Colonial bentgrass putting green turf treated with 6,12, and 20 lb of nitrogen, 0 and 4 lab of P2O5 phosphorus, and uniform applications of 8 lb of K2O potassium per 1000 sq ft per season in all possible combinations. Sulfur, at rates of 0, 1.15, and 3.45 lb per 1000 sq ft per season were combined with all N, P and K treatments. Sulfur was applied to these N-P-K- treatments in three equal applications to avoid excessive sulfur from single applications. The following represents a summary of our findings of sulfur at this time." |
