Abstract/Contents: | Suggests keeping fairways free of Poa annua by using MH-30 (maleic hydrazide) and Maintain CF-125 as a post emergence control. States that "there is no doubt that the combination of maleic hydrazide and Maintain CF-125 is useful in retarding Poa annua to a much greater degree than bentgrass, thus giving the bent a competitive advantage...On fairways that have a good percentage of bentgrass (or Kentucky bluegrass as the case may be) I feel it is worth considering. I certainly wouldn't recommend it on fairways that are solid or predominantly Poa annua." |
