Abstract/Contents: | Discusses pesticide exposure on turfgrass following application, stating that "the greatest potential for exposure to turfgrass pesticides is during transport and storage, mixing and loading, equipment calibration and cleanup, application to turfgrass sites, and site reentry." Suggestions include "stay off the lawn until it's either dry or the dusts have settled; avoid unnecessary contact with the treated area for 24 hours, and water-in if required. Signs should of course, be posted to alert property owners and visitors to the specific treatment that's been used." |
