Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the use of personal protective equipment to protect against chemicals entering the body through the skin. Describes what spray suits are made out of, stating that "generally speaking the fabrics that have a continuous plastic rubberized coating such as Tyvek QC, PVC, etc. provide the best protection, but they have the lowest worker acceptance. The problem is simply...heat stress." Also discusses how to choose the right suit for the correct situation. |
