| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a Kentucky bluegrass cultivar evaluation in which the cultivars were divided into irrigation/non-irrigation plots, as well as being exposed to two mowing heights and two rates of IBDU fertilization. Results were based on quality and color ratings, and revealed that "only Aquila, Sydsport, and Touchdown had obtained acceptable quality." Also, "under irrigated conditions, Sydsport, Aquila, Glade, Touchdown, Majestic and Park were found to be acceptable...none of the cultivars attained an acceptable rating under non-irrigated conditions." Also notes that cultivars with the best color were Glade, Baron and Victa. |
