| Abstract/Contents: | "The population density of third instar white grubs of Phyllophaga congrua (LeConte) in an irrigated tall fescuegrass turf was significantly reduced by treatment with either carbaryl 43 percent SL (at 6.7 kg ai/ha), carbaryl UCSF-54 (at 9.0 kg ai/ha), fenitrothion 8E (at 4.5 and 9.0 kg ai/ha), ethoprop 10 G (at 5.6 kg ai/ha), isazofos 4E (at 1.1 kg ai/ha), isazofos 4CS (at 1.1 kg ai/ha), and diazinon 5 G (at 6.3 kg ai/ha) in a replicated field test. Statistical analysis of the data did not clearly demonstrate that ethopro 5 G (at 5.6 kg ai/ha), carbaryl 43 percent SL (at 9.0 kg ai/ha), or carbaryl UCSF-54 (at 6.7 kg ai/ha) were effective." |
