Abstract/Contents:Briefly profiles several turfgrass species of which research has led to cultivar improvement for use on golf courses. The species are creeping bentgrass, velvet bentgrass, Kentucky bluegrass, perennial ryegrass, turf type intermediate and annual ryegrass, Poa annua, Poa supina, and Poa reptans, tall fescue, and fine fescues.
