| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study to examine the effects of light frequent irrigation versus deep infrequent irrigation on Kentucky bluegrass, tall fescue and perennial ryegrass. States that "trends from 1999 indicated that the daily irrigation treatments resulted in higher turfgrass quality and density that the weekly irrigation. Results from 2000 were inconclusive due to the frequent rainfall experienced in East Lansing. Research will be continued in 2001 to determine the effects of irrigation and fertility treatments on turfgrass species." |
