| Abstract/Contents: | Presents the 1999 results from the 1998 national fineleaf fescue trial. Entries were evaluated on greenup, genetic color, turfgrass density, and turfgrass quality. Results include "greenup ratings were low,...mean turfgrass color was 6.7,...[and] mean densities were all above 6.0 throughout the growing season, although some individual cultivars started the growing season at a relatively low level and improved." |
