Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the use of fertilizers containing micronutrients. Defines micronutrients. Describes how to test soil for micronutrient levels. Profiles the role of iron, magnesium, sulfur, calcium, manganese, boron, copper, zinc, chloride, molybdenum, and nickel in plant fertilizers. States that "it is probably not advisable to use fertilizer containing trace elements unless there is a need. The one exception might be the use of iron in the spring to quicken green-up before nitrogen release kicks in." |
