Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the many benefits of using wetting agents, with a focus on flow patterns in soil. Also discusses the way wetting agents can help elmininate conditions such as localized dry spot, and help disperse fertilizers and pesticides. "Wetting agents reduce soil hydrophobicity, enhance infiltration and penetration of water into soil...provide optimum moisture during overseeding, reduce water repellancy during top dressing, and increase overall quality and appearance of turf." |
