Abstract/Contents:"The establishment and management of roadside vegetation is a major component of the turf industry in eastern U.S.A. Various historical phases including legume and varied grass species are presented. Comparisions of species and their natural density as a factor in weed control are made. Management options using mulches and growth retardants are discussed."
