| Abstract/Contents: | "The National Turfgrass Evaluation Program (NTEP) conducts evaluations of turfgrasses in forty states and five Canadian provinces. NTEP funds turfgrass researchers for official test evaluations at university locations as well as on-site evaluations, in conjunction with USGA and GCSAA, at twenty-six golf courses. NTEP has also funded recently, through a grant from USGA, five projects dealing with statistical analysis of NTEP data. This paper will investigate current trends and future needs in funding of turfgrass culture evaluations and other research areas." |
