Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study to evaluate chemicals for control of brown patch disease caused by Rhizoctonia solani and R. zeae in colonial bentgrass under golf course fairway conditions. Results include that Heritage, Compass, and Prostar "provided superior control under the severe conditions" and that "the isolations proved that a majority of the disease symptoms were a result of infection by Rhizoctonia solani rather than R.zeae." |
