Dutch Turfgrass Research Foundation Abstract (Thanks to DTRF) | "In accordance with an ordinance of the City of San Francisco, an IPM program has been implemented for weeds, esp. English daisy (Bellis perennis), at the San Francisco Golf Club. Manual removal with modified common tools was chosen as the key strategy. Results, reduction in herbicide use and costs are described. Separate boxes detail the San Francisco IPM Ordinance, the biology of B. perennis, and the general IPM strategy for B. perennis on golf courses" |
