| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study to evaluate the effects of an upcoming commercial product, Nature's Nutrient, on bentgrass root growth. Treated bentgrass plots were evaluated for dry root weight. Results include that "Treatment 1 [original formulation 2 oz Nature's Nutrient], at the low fertility rate, had significantly more root weight than its respective control during the august [August] sampling date...this is the same rate that showed a difference in the previous year's test except that last year it was observed only on the high fertility rate treatment in august [August]. This same treatment at the low fertility rate was noted last year but it was during the July sampling." |
