Abstract/Contents:"All the cultivars and breeding lines of Pennisetum clandestinum tested in the glasshouse against the undescribed phycomycete causing this disease proved susceptible. However, line W2 showed a high level of tolerance and remained disease-free in field plots 10 yr after establishment. This line is being registered as a new cultivar, Noonan."
