Abstract/Contents: | Explains that tall fescue is a bunch-type grass which will not form sod or spread like a grass species that has rhizomes or tillers. States that "if you can keep your clients happy be seeding each fall, then tall fescue is ok. but I suggest that if you are going to adopt an annual seeding strategy you might as well use ryegrass instead because it is much cheaper and germinates faster." Also offers more tall fescue alternatives. |
