| Abstract/Contents: | The drying rate of a layer of seeds of cocksfoot, Italian ryegrass, meadow foxtail, meadow fescue and red clover was followed in controlled environment at 20 deg C with moving air and at 45 deg and 60 deg with hot air. All drying rates gave a curve characteristic of that of a green crop; the curve was determined by the initial drying rate, the equilibrium m.c. and a time constant. |
