| Abstract/Contents: | In field trials at Livada in 1971-3, meadow fescue for seed production was given various combinations of 0, 6 or 12 t lime, 0, 30 or 60 kg N, 0, 100 or 200 kg P2O5 and 0, 20 or 40 t FYM/ha. Seed yields were not significantly affected by lime or P but increased from an av. of 0.75 t/ha without applied N to 1.09 t with 60 kg N/ha and increased from 0.87 t without FYM to 0.98 t with 40 t FYM/ha. Interactions between various factors were investigated and the highest yields were 1.40 t seed/ha with 60 kg N + 20 t FYM + 12 t lime/ha, 1.27 t/ha with 30 kg N + 200 kg P2O5 + 40 t FYM + 12 t lime/ha and 1.25 t with 60 kg N + 200 kg P2O5 + 12 t lime/ha. |
