Abstract/Contents: | "Cocksfoot (Dactylis glomerata) and meadow fescue (Festuca pratensis) were cut 3 times during the growing seasons 1967-70. When N fertilization, 0 to 600 kg/ha year, was increased the K content of both grasses rose sharply during the first season. At later stages when K resources in the soil were declining, this phenomenon diminished until the 3rd season when the effect of N was reversed. Ca and Mg contents increased when N fertilization was increased whereas P decreased." |
